Was the MG-34 used in this arrangement the armored barrel version? I suspect that is likely, but have no idea if it is fact. Also, are there interior illustrations or photos of the arrangement? Jentz and Spielberger both offer a photo, I believe the same, of the radio operators area but I am hopeful there may be others.
