Nice work so far. What work did you do to the barrel, I am assuming the work you did was on the barrel end?

nice work. That barrel is a real gem. Would it be possible to add some larger pics instead of thumbnails?

I bought one of these a couple of months ago. I planned on modifying it into T72B3, but lo and behold trumpeter is coming out with one sometime this year! I like the metal barrel! I may have to get one.

it will not be correct if you use mod1990 to convert the b3. In fact B3 and B3M don't have anti-radiation coat on the top of the turret. which means it will be a brand new turret with accurate frontal shape like 05599 T-72B(but in fact once you mounted the K5 on the turret the area wont be seen...LOL. so it is not a big deal for B mod1990 and the best thing is that they have already using the new turret shape on the other T-72B variant from 05599 T-72B K1)

Excellent. Glad you caught the various missing electrical conduits on the Trumpeter turret.

Having built both MENG and Trumpeter T-72/T-90 series, I've developed a strong preference for the engineering finesse and accuracy of the MENG offering.
