Hi all

Heng long ZTZ-99A 1/16scale
What other version of this chassis been used for other than a gun tank ...
Has any one ever seen any thing at all that I could look at converting to maybe an ARV or SPG I just can't seem to find any other use for this chassis ??

The ZTZ-99s have only been made into MBTs; there has too this date ever been another Vehicle made on the 99s chassis.
There are Three Basic Versions based on the ZTZ-99 and they only differ in there armor or there Optics. The other MBT is the ZTZ-96 which is almost Four feet shorter than the 99.
The New ZTZ-99 is almost A Different Vehicle altogether and looks more like A 96 rather than A 99.

If you are referring to the latest MBT paraded in Beijing in September, there was an armoured recovery version also shown at the parade based on the chassis of the new MBT
