Well I'm working on this one and I'm disappointed by the non workable tracks, they are difficult to put in place imho and can hardly be painted before being placed. they look like Dragon magic tracks.

One other thing to mention about the kit, the marking provided for the BATUS scheme, vehicle reg and call signs are from a MK11. I found a photo on one of the RTR forums and the photo sniper book shows the colour profile of the same wagon which is labled a MK11, the still brew armour gives it away. I'm also pretty sure that the MK5s were not serving in BATUS in 1991. Small detail I know but it's not correct.

If you look up in the forums about using magic tracks this, it may help with your issue.
Thank you for the info Dan as I am sure it will be of help.

My only minor gripe is regarding the raised lip/rail that runs around the entire hull and drivers hatch. This lip/rail should have a "U" shaped profile (at least in the area surrounding the hatch), whereas on the kit is solid. Like I said, I minor gripe, otherwise loving these kits.

With three Chieftains to choose from, which one looks like the "best" kit?

British MK5 or Iranian MK 5 Persian ... Those are the 2 versions in the box.
