hi guys here is another small update I applied the first bit of grass with a few light drybrushes I drilled most of the holes for the large grass.
and I painted the cobblestone road.
I know it has cracks but they will not be visible when the dio is finished.
as always critics and comments are welcome.

I like the road and the grass/dirt areas look good. What are you going to use for the grass?

Nice transitions from road to natural area.
On the road these pictures make it look like the bricks/cobbles are lower than the surrounding dirt/mortar. I would add more wash to the creases to accentuate the bricks.

hi dustoff well the road is made very easy.
first you paint the whole road in the same color as you painted the muddy parts.
so its completly brown.
then you take a dark shade of grey and you apply a heavy drybrush,
let it dry and take a lighter shade of grey and apply a softer drybrush but covering most of the road, then an even lighter grey and you do a very gentle drybrush on some parts of the road, after that I took an little white and made the brush almost completly dry and did the last soft drybrush covering little parts of the road and tada
this is how it turned out.
the grass well I applied it with my fingers getting rid of the clumps first offcourse I took a big painter brush thinned down my wood glue with water and painted the whole sandy area with it, then applied the grass and sealed it with matt varnish letting it dry for about 24 hours and then starting with drybrushing the grass. very easy.
good luck

Looking Very Good Juul.
One thing on photography...Maybe you want to shoot the pictures from another angle next time.... The pictures you published above, give me the sensation of being a skydiver with the ground coming closer every picture .... I feel the impact coming up #:-)
Serious now.. I really have difficulty in "reading" the pictures. Perhaps a shot from another angle is better. Anybody else felt this, or was it just me ?
