Gentlemen,

The Merkava Mk. 2 "Horizon" is a prototype only,an offer of the Ordnance Corps for a multi purpose tracked armored vehicle for Command MEDEVAC, and technical team's vehicle. It is far from final configuration.
The "Eitan" wheeled APC is a demonstrator that will roll-out in the first quarter of 2016.
Both are not yet, IMHO, to be modelled or built.
Wait for the real ones.

Well
The first prototype of the Merkava 2 based APC code name "OFEK" demonstrate sucsesfully its ability in front of the Chief of staff of IDF and high rank officers, thus it will most likely enter to IDF service in short period. The “OFEK” concept is similar to ones that done with the Centurion tank hulls that resulted in full family of heavy APC, such as Nagmashot, Nagmachon and etc, in which the turret was removed and new well defense raised crew fighting compartment was added with minimal changes to the hull itself. Thus the production of such vehicle is only small fraction of the cost of new NAMER, specially since it is based on existing vehicle that was push out of service.
They will replace the old age and obsolete M113 for special support roles like ambulance and etc.

Make space on you shelf, great looking vehicle will join up the plastic word soon I hope. In this days there is no time to wait, they are poping like mushrooms after the rain in old dense woods.
