Almost everytime I see a M35A2 or Guntruck they all have the same thing on them. The thing that iam talking about is the fuel can on the driver side step. After I glued this on not long after I realized that the door would only opne a few inches if it was a real vechile, does anyone know if this is a kit error? or if it is smaller on real vechiles?

Another thing iam wondering is where exactly do the mirrors go on the model? I've looked at the directions many times and i cant really seem to find the exact location of where they go. Can any one help me out?

thanks,
Mike

There is probably a kit piece sizing error. When a standard 5 gallon can is in the rack, the door will clear the can and open fully. If you go to my motorpool in the photo gallery, the is a photo of an M35A3 and the first photo of the album there is a good shot of how the rear view mirror is attached to the cab of the truck.

I agree with Sabot - it's commonly a kit part sizing error - like the difference between the .50cal WWII ammo cans made by Verlinden, as compared to others...

Mike,
With the real M35 the door is clear from the can. I''l check out my own 1/35 version (I think that was an Academy kit) to see if I had the same problem...
