I'm not overly familiar with all changes in gear and time periods of changes. I'm looking for figures, plastic or resin, that would be appropriate for marines in 2003 OIF. Specifically for Abrams, AAV, LAV but also MTVR. Prefer standing around guys or relaxed tank crew.
Thanks,
Steve

Depending on how early in '03 you want them, there are some options. If you want them in the early days of the invasion, 20 Mar - about 7 Apr, they would need to wear JS-LIST chemical suits. Blast has some figures wearing JS-LIST.
If you want them later than that, any figure wearing the Interceptor Body Armor (IBA) vest will do.

I scrolled through some of my pictures from OIF I and attached several that are essentially “at rest.” Only couple Marines in the platoon had desert MARPAT cammies however we all had MARPAT helmet covers. Once we crossed the LOD we were in woodland cammo MOPP gear. All of our flak jackets were woodland cammo as well, and all deuce being green. Once the gas threat subsided we shed our MOPP, I can’t recall exactly at what point that was but by the time we were in Baghdad it was back to the old desert cammies.
The embarked infantry wore a mix of tricolor and MARPAT cammies.

Hi! Figures: Try TRUMPETER, ALPINE, LEGEND, DRAGON, MASTER BOX, CMK- there are others, I just can't think of them all right now. Ebay is a good source to virtually ANYTHING that might strike your fancy...

Thanks
Also I should've been more specific originally too. I'm aware of figures being offered by various companies, but a lot are simply described only as "modern" or "OIF" which don't really specify exactly what period they actually cover within those generic times.
