So, I'm at a loss as to how to properly mix up my lifecolor paints. I have two of their sets (leaking/stains) and though I love the colors I can't seem to mix them without them becoming frothy with bubbles (shaking) or really globby from just stirring them. It seems really hard to get a consistent well mixed paint and though it's ok for brush painting I can't imagine airbrushing with it. Any advice is much appreciated.

Have you tried mixing them in an eye-dropper bottle? The froth/bubbles should be less of an issue.

Chris when mixing for airbrushing just add a drop of retarder other than that I just use as is without any issues I may just add a few drops of water but that depends on how thick the paint is as I find it can vary. The bubbles have never caused me an issue.

Thanks Gents for the insights. I will not let the bubbles deter me from working with these paints.

Chris,
I love Lifecolor paints. You can shake them and don't worry about the bubbles. You can airbrush or brush paint it straight from the bottle. You can thin it for tighter airbrushing. It's just a remarkable paint.

Thanks Tom! I'm gonna keep working with them and maybe even look at the Polish Army set down the road.
