Hello all.
I picked up a couple of the Mig Ammo paint packs to try out on some up and coming kits.
I watched a couple of YouTube videos about the paints and it says they can be poured straight into the airbrush. Is this correct?
All well and good if they are, but there was no mention made of what's best for cleaning the airbrush afterwards. Is water ok to use? Or is a specialist Mig cleaner the best?
Also, does it matter what primer is used if spraying over it with Mig Ammo? I would have thought not? I usually use the Tamiya spray can primer in white or grey
Looking forward to hearing from you
Thanks guys.

Dougie,

I've used it straight out of the bottle for bigger spraying jobs but I thin it slightly with acrylic airbrush thinner from Mig depending on the effect I want to achieve. They have covered very well. Mig's standard acrylic thinner has cleaned my old Paasche airbrush very well. When I've run out of thinner it has cleaned up well with water which I usually use at higher pressure. I use Tamiya light gray primer on nearly everything and occasionally black automotive primer too. Mig paints have covered both very well. Ammo of Mig Jimenez is quickly becoming my go to company for my weathering and painting needs.

Aloha from Hawaii,

Bill
