I've got and used all 3...My opinion goes to Vallejo. I really love their line of Model Air, just shake and go!

I haven't used either, but both Polly S and Vallejo seem to be praised as among the best acrylics anywhere... Vallejo has 2 lines of paint - one for brush-painting and one for airbrushing...
I like Gunze acrylics - they're good for both brush-painting and spraying. Tamiya's acrylics don't brush on well but spray great!

I tried the Vallejo Acrylics (Model Air) and had nothing but problems with it. I Lke MM the best of all I've tried.

I use the Testors MM Acryl. If you are airbrushing, shake and shoot. I could never get Tamiya paints to work with an AB or a brush. Never tried the Vallejo.

I must go with Vallejo on this one although I haven't used them for airbrushing.

I would agree, Vallejo are the best for brushing, by far, but for airbrushing, I like MM

I like Polly Scale for air brushing. I usually use enamel for handbrushing. I have not tried the other acrylics for handbrushing yet.

I like Tamiya the best for oil washes real quick after painting Vallejo are great for Hand painting. but are very delicate paints and do not take abuse well.
Polly scale is the best for that .
Gunze have them but have not tried them as of yet next model I will.
Badger use to make a paint line called Precise Design Model Flex all railroad colors but some are real close to colors like OD green and such, ever try them?
They are semi flat so a coat of flat after wsah would be good!

I thin it with either water or rubbing alcohol.

Till now i have used MM, Gunze and Tamiya. I feel that MM are by far better , finer pigment and both handpaint and airbrush nice result. The tamiya ones thicker pigment and some times they give my hard time. With the Gunzes i dont have any problem but some of them tend to go thicker as time goes by the dont keep their standard density as much as MM.

Yeah, I could never get Tamiya to airbrush well for me, either. Always semed to be grainy, no matter what thinner/paint & pressure. Best to thin Vallejo with either distilled water, or their thinner. I Like their thinner best, water can do some funny things to it, in my experience( Which is very limited! )
