Hello
I found a Meng's M9 ACE on pre-order in Luckymodel. Can somebody tell me if this Vehicle have been used in Iraq or Afghanistan by US or USMC forces. If yes can I add for example some anti IED devices or add-on armour ?
Thank You for help

The Marines definitely used the M9 ACE during the march to Baghdad in 2003, I saw them on several occasions. Beyond that I can't say with any certainty.

They were used in Iraq in the initial invasion and after. There were no additional armor or anti-IED devices used on them that I can tell.
Here is one from the initial invasion from 20 ENG, 3ID in Mar-Apr '03.

Another from Iraq assigned to 588 EN, 4 ID, time unk, but before about '07-'08 since there is still a 3-tone DCU helmet on it.

One in Iraq from unk unit, about '05.

Here is a NATO camo one from '07 in Iraq. It looks to be the one Takom used for their box art.

Another NATO camo one from 1 AR in Iraq in 2011.

I'm not sure if any have been deployed in A'stan.

"Dirt Diggler" - hilarious!
If I ever get around building one of these, this is definitely going to be the real M9 my build will be based on.
(sorry for OT)

Also so there is no confusion Takom is the company releasing the M9 and not Meng

Minor correction, its Takom making the M9, not Meng.

Now to figure out the best way to do the rubbed off dust for Dirt Diggler. Wonder if there's a way to VERY, VERY Carefully remove some acrylic paint with a very fine brush and thinner. I can't think of really any other way to do it, unless you mask it off with Maskol or Mr. Masking-Sol.
Anyone have any better ideas for that? I'm really interested in this kit.
