Hi guys,
Does anyone know of a 1/35 1970s Israeli tank crew, preferably styrene but resin if need be.
There are some great IDF figures out there, but they all seem to be 1980s or later.
I'm talking about the Yom Kippur era, if that helps.
Many thanks.

Hobbyfan makes a set of one afv crew and one infantry figure. Masterclub makes a resin figure in overalls.

You are correct, the majority of the IDF tank crew sets are more modern.
Your best bet if you can find them in the Verlinden Israeli Tank Crew 1970s set.

You may want to add "white metal" to your search criteria. I have one from that time period with correct helmet, separate arm and Uzi. I don't remember who produced it.

Thanks guys, I remember that one.
Unfortunately, the metal Verlinden ones are as rare as hens teeth.

Patrick, I've used styrene torso's from several company's (Tamiya, etc.) and then replaced their heads with Hornet Heads. Hornet makes a set of resin heads that are labeled "US pattern AFV Helmets" (also used by Israel) 1960's era. HUH 03. Obviously their Hornet and there's nothing else to say. Their just beautiful and I've had great success using them. Also, I do have a set of the very old Verlinden Israeli Tank Crew 1970's. That I would be glad to part with if you're interested in going that route. Not 100 percent sure where I got them, but their the white metal ones and they've been primed for painting.
