all, I am building the AFV Late M5A1 complete with Verlinden interior (I know it fits the Tamiya kit but its not too bad on the AFV either). Part fo rthe interior is a fixed fire extinguisher (mounted on the rear bulkhead).
any ideas of
1) the colour of the body
2) the colour of the top dials
3) the colour of any straps (assume they would be leather) holding it on

I believe MOST fire extinguishers , back in ww2 , were brass . I could be wrong but I believe they were

I believe that the fixed extinguishers were red. Probably brass fittings and metal securing strips which were attached to the hull, so painted white.
Based on museum examples I've seen which were non-runners, thus substantially unrestored and having no need for modern extinguishers to have been fitted.
