Thanks Malcolm! Yeah there are a few little blue ones in there, but I'll paint them when or if they show up later.
It's going to be a little sunk in the shale, but I'm not modelling it as it ended up lol. It should be a nice little scene, and probably a lot more peaceful then it was in 1942.
I was wanting to try modelling it as it came out of the surf, but I do not yet have any experience with water effects. That will have to come later I suppose lol.

Drilling the mg barrels out after its all together was quite the trick. Its a great looking churchhill and will be looking forward to the completed beach scene.

I have a case now and I'm just needing a plinth to raise up the scene so there's not so much negative space in the massive space provided lol. Its meant for sports memorabilia, such as a baseball and has quite a high ceiling so I want to raise the model up and fill some of the space.
I have more than a few ideas and just need to act on one of them.
You should see some completed results fairly soon.
