It's not just the Bradley. They've drop the price for about 100 items in total (mainly Revell) this week.

Oh no, I got my M2A3 and whil unpackaging sprues, I think I dropped a pair of track links. Anyone know if the kit has more than needed? I'd hate to have this expensive kit not be able to be built.

There are more links than needed. Also, you only need to build the lower run and angled parts over the sprocket and return roller. The top run is not seen and doesn't need to be there. That is how I built the tracks on the Orochi M3A3 (almost the same tracks) and have about half the links still left over for another build.

Thanks Gino. It looks like a phenomenal kit. I test fit a couple links and I think I like how the tracks are engineered I can't wait for their Abrams. It's going to be fat times for modelers when we're old men.

Couldn't you just pick them up?

I also have that kit which IS superb.
A contributor on MODELLING MADNESS mentioned that there are a few things missing or incorrect such as wrong radio,
+ some missing 'electronic' parts, as usual no proof of these errors is provided!, although photos of the interior of a combat vehicle are somewhat rare.

Robert Skipper has some excellent photos you can purchase from him. I used a set building mine. Don't sweat the radio, it can't be seen unless you take off the turret roof.

Not sure what "electronic part" he is talking about. The radios are incorrect though. The kit has the old VRC-160, Series-46/12 radios, which haven't been used since the mid-90s.
The correct radios are SINCGARS which can be had from Pro Art Models. You can just see the screen of the SINCGARS ASIP radio behind the TC below.
Bottom line, no kit is perfect. The Meng Bradleys are very close to it though.

Missing electronics could mean the VIC/intercom system, other than that, MENG did the best damn job they could along with Rob's references.
Well Pete, over on the "Varsity" site there's speculation as to how they'll do on the Abrams. Using your logic, I'd say odds are it's going to be a pretty good kit.
And could the ABV be in our future?
