Just for clarification, this is a Hobby Boss release, not Trumpeter.

Wow, been away from the hobby for a year and all the legend IDF conversions are becoming obsolete.
Love it!

You love what? The new kits coming out, or the fact that Legend's conversions are "obsolete?" I've got them all, and I can tell you this: A lot of their conversions are still going to be better in the long run. While PE doesn't necessarily "make" a kit, Legend's conversions already have a lot of the detail many will be wanting to replace. At a price of course.
Witness Legend's M1114 and M1151 conversions. They still have finer details (because they're resin?) than their plastic counterparts.

This. I love Legends' detail sets and conversions, they even include copper wiring and foil when necessary, they are very complete.

Guys, I have a few legend conversions myself and they are very nice, I'm not saying that they are bad or worse than the new plastic offerings. I'm just happy that I'll be able to build many IDF subjects I'm interested in with less conversion work. I will for sure use the legend detail sets I have in case they have better detail than the plastic kit.
Kind regards.
