Hi Gang,
I work on Heller VBCI with KMT`s VBCI VPC conversion. I noticed that the kits decals can`t be used with the VPC (different MLC sign etc.) Now I wonder if a company relaesed a set of generic decals for modern French Army that I can use with the VPC?
TIA

Have a look at Model Miniatures and also at FFSMC who has released a sheet of generic markings for current French vehicles.

I have Julie`s decal set for my VBCI. But a need a MLC28 sign for the VPC. FFSMC looks got, I think I give it try. How many VPC are actually in service with the French Army?

The original order in 2000 was for 630 units (520 VBCI's and 110 VPC's). In March 2012, 84 VPC's had been delivered. The last remaining units should be delivered in 2015.

Salut mes amis,
more questions on VBCI:
KMT offers "sacs EDR" and a luggage rack for VBCI. I am i assuming correctly that these can be used on both VBCI VCI and VPC? And what are sacs ECR?
Merci

Yes the racks should be good for both vehicles. Although you can find differences if you're looking at VBCI deployed to Afghanistan compared to ones sent to Mali or UAE.

ECR= Ecran de Camouflage Rapide. Camo nets. This is a standard feature on all French army vehicles, the nuber depends on the size of the vehicle to conceal.
