This is an old base I had that I am redoing for displaying my GAZ-67B. I redid the groundwork and added some homemade trees.

Pretty cool Mark! What are you using for the water? I might want to throw in some browns and dark greys in on the tree bark/trees...
Love that GAZ model... Tamiya's? I had a blast with the one I did a number of years ago...

Thanks for the advice. I added some additional trees that are a bit more yellowish/golden brown.
The trees were made using some type of dried floral stuff. I sprayed this with spray adhesive and sprinkled them with parsley and oregino. This was then sealed with matte fixative to keep it all together.
The grass is different colors of static grass. I also sprinkled parsley and oregino on the ground.

I like it a lot -simple effective, nice flow.
I would paint the tree trunks a different color. Even a tree with a green trunk will have a darker green than the limbs, as the tree gets older and the trunk hardens the material gets darker.
I would also paint the sides black or a dark color. The sides where the elevation is.
