I don't know about this one. It looks great if you all you want is a serene beach scene. To depict a landing and chaos of war one would have to produce hundreds of foot prints and/or track prints. scattered gear, which would be embedded in the sand, etc.. This may not be that easy to pull off with a solid block of resin.

I don't think it's a solid block of resin, as the description says "foam core." So what you have is the foam(to keep weight down), then a thin "crust" of resin poured over it for the sand and water features. The palm tree seawall also looks to be resin, like that old Verlinden set. But I agree with Marty about this item having limited applications, especially a hot landing zone.

I had the CD version of this product, unfortunately it was destroyed in a move.

I solved the foot traffic problem with Calibre 35 boot prints, some white glue and talcum powder, I didn't have the courage to try and model the LVT in the water - would have taken some cutting and re-modelling the water, something I didn't (and still don't) have the skills to accomplish.

You could still use it "as is" somebody has to be the first to hit the beach. You could call it "The Calm Before the Storm".
