Calling this done. 1/35 Trumpeter Strv-103B in winter camo. Lightly weathered, kit decal silvered all over the place.

Nice work! This maybe a stupid question but, did you use a gloss coat before applying your decals? Silvering appears when the decal is applied over a flat surface because of tiny air bubbles trapped between the decal and the surface. I use future floor polish as a gloss coat.

I got this one to finish as well, it does give me the urge to take it out and finish it! Love your camo as well!

Cheers,

Christian

Very nice cammo job. I'll bet that took a while to mask.

YEP! Looks great and nothing better than an "S" tank in winter time.

Christian,

I did use gloss coat prior to placing the decal. I guess I should have trimmed the carrier film close to the print to avoid the silver on the corners. Or maybe its a bad decal quality.

Bad decal quality I say!!! The first offerings from Trumpeter, quality wise were not the greatest, but, we have two S tanks in plastic! :-)

Cheers,

Christian
