Hello guys, I`m nearing completion of my 1/72 Sherman and wanted to put a driver figure in just to make the model a little more interesting. The problem is I can`t find a tanker figure anywhere, I can find the occasional black dog US WWII tank crew + civilian, but I`m not looking to spend the 15$ they are asking for. If anyone knows where I could find a tank driver for around 5-7$ or has one to sell please let me know.

Kind regards and thanks, Sven.

Hey Erhan, thanks for the reply. I think the price of that set is the same of this, and I can`t find any others so I think I`ll go with this one in the end even though it`s a little expensive.
Do you know if these figures are good, or is there a better alternative for that price range?

I haven't used Black Dog figures before, but the HaT figures are made from very soft plastic (even softer than the old Airfix figures). It's a struggle to clean up the mold lines even with a new blade.

I've read of this trick but haven't tried it. Stick your soft plastic figures in the freezer for an hour or so. They should become hard enough to trim and clean with a knife blade.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try.
I'm not sure what plastic HaT make their figures from but unlike the 1/76 Airfix figures (made from polyethylene) the HaT plastic can be glued and paint seems to stick pretty well.

I'm sure the OP has found what he needed, but just a FWIW, there are vehicle crew figures available from Dan Taylor Models, AB Figures, Milicast and a few others. They are listed as 1/76, but as long as you are careful as to what 1/72 figures you mix them with, they work fine for 1/72.
