Building the above Trumpeter kit. What is the proper part to place on the front lower hull, C13 which is flat or C9 which has raised detail?
Thanks.

Hi;
I think what you are refering to is the lower hull which has the Attachment points for the Mine Plow/ Roller !
CHEERS; MIKE.

Correct. So which one is the right one, the flat piece or the one with the attachment points? Or can I use either?
Thanks

Hi;
You can use either one, if you want too make A Early T-64 then use the lower with-out the attchments, the other would be for A Later Mk; T-64 ! Do A Google search and pick A version that you like, or get the New Osprey Book on the T-64 thats revued by JD !
GOOD LUCK; MIKE.

According to Sayenko and Chobitok, the self-emplacement blade was installed from January 1973 onwards. No doubt it was retrofitted in due course as older vehicles were rebuilt.

What you say makes sense. Don't know much about Russian Cold War era armor as I just moved from WWII German. It is my understanding that the T-64 went through numerous changes and that many were indeed retrofitted to bring the up to the latest standards. Thanks.
