GOOSE!!!!
At long last we see what you have ben working away on these past few months.
Very nice dio and very ambitious and I must say you have pulled it off well. That M-113 is spectacular and you have added a lot of nice details and grafitti.

The only little thing I see that might be touched up (or it might go away with proper lighting) is the hair on the woman with the bike is a little glossy, see if you can tone that down a bit (If it needs to be).
Also, I see the confederate flag is in there, any chance we can a detail shot of how that looks?

Great job, neat sybject... well done!!!

Thanks for your encouraging words. The hair of the girl is a lil shiny (as asian girls hair is) but the bad lighting is giving it hard time. i ll try to fix next shooting and also bring up the confederate flag which is the x factor of the campaign.

I must agree with porkchop. Very cool indeed.
The APC looks really good.
Any story behind the idea?

adelfe moy,
I am glad to see your cover up entry is finished because you had some stress not to finish it ontime. The story and diorama is great. the groundwork and building is very good. I especially liked the 2 soldiers in the little trench.M113 is god painted and weathered, loading of the vehicle is superb. Finally I believe this looks a very good Nam diorama...... but LOL..did you think I will not shoot the pianist :-) If I were you, I would not put a telegraph or phone pole and cables to a Nam village style diorama.
congrats Costas for the good work.

Many thanks to all the guys for the inspiring and encouraging comments. I really put a lot of work there and many hours to get through and i hoped that some people would like it .
For my brother Graywolf i have to admit that i was balancing for some days to put the pole or not , but as from some angles it seemed a lil gappy there and also seen on tv that many Nam villages (especially close to big cities) had telephone and electricity, i i did it. Next Nam dio will be without poles bro

As for the story about it as asked :So here guys is a lil Vietnam village, during the Nam War. The people have some good relations with the US ARMY. In the entry of the village there is a ruined small house and it is in a good position for a US Patrol groups to set a cover up as being ordered, cause the info says that some Viet Kong are comin towards. So they dig a hole for the soldiers and The M113 with fire power is by side and ready . They are taking a lil rest as they chat with the village girls asking what they have seen the last days. Just waiting and preparing, and staring on the birdies that stroll around them and on the ACAV!!!! . Thats it . I hope u like it

I couldn't see the gunpit before and was interested to see what weapon you had in there. but instead you show troopers feeding a duck!! How cool.

I support alternative items on dios that show reality which was not always on the gun's side, so i try to insert them when i make a dio. Signs of everyday life, besides the clear war scene, so....i am glad u like it , though there was not a super weapon in the pit !!!!!!!

Good job on the dio. I love it when someone posts something on Nam, I love it when it has pictures, and I love it even more when it's a diorama :-) You got a lot of stuff going on in that dio, which is good. BTW, that's a pretty nice looking Confederate flag you got there. :-) I'm curious, where did you get the figures around the sandbags? Those aren't from the Mechanical Mule kit are they?

Great dio major_goose. I like the details that you made there. Uhmm... I think that soldier is reading that Playboy mag upsidedown or did he just put it on his lap. Where did you get those posters on the wall of the house? Congrats on that good build.

Dear Gentlemen thanks a lot on your comments. The guy has indeed put the Playboy upside down cause itis just left on his lap, and as you read a mag if you leave it it goes that way. The confederate flag is hand painted but have been better before weathering that ....dilluted her ... a lil bit ..The figures are from the Mechanical mule kit indeed (dragon's Nam series).
If i had more time , i could build some more stuff i had in mind, but ....in the next dios guys
