Hi all!

Here is some pictures of my newest diorama's current status: VK4502 Hintern in 1945 Berlin. The kit is from HobbyBoss, it has build almost OOB, except Spade Ace metal track, a few PE parts from other kits, RBModel gun barrel and panzerfaust. The base is a simple cobblestone from Miniart. The bricks and tiles are made of air-drying clay. The figures are from Zvezda 3621 Volkssturm kit. The rats are from PlusModel resin kit. I am still waiting for Verlinden 1777 resin figure kit.

Might I suggest that rubble debris in three tidy little areas does not work. It needs to be scattered everywhere on the base to be realistic. Take a look at any building demolition site, and you'll also notice that gray cement dust covers everything.

Update: a bit more debris on base. Freshly made, it is yet drying.

Some more weathering with matte varnish and pigments.
