Yes! I am waiting for this early Leopard variant (the Tamiya kit is far outdated). And even decals for Panzerbataillon 194 in Muenster-Handorf. I was there 1987-88 in 2./194 on Leopard1 A1A2. Probably the Price would be about 25 Euro?

Andreas, the official Revell price in Germany is 29,99 Euros, but it may be cheaper online. Will get mine probably for christmas, though I might need 2 of them ....

Is this kit 100% new, or does it retain some of the Italeri/Revell components of earlier releases?

Pulled out my A2 and the only things I really noticed were the roadwheels are different,no more segments on them, the front fenders are different, the engine screen looks to be a far better photo etch piece, the turret has lifting lugs and the tracks are the chevron type.Other than that,we'll have to see it in person.

EDIT
Looks to be an all new tool from the pics of the sprues

Great! Looking very forward to this one; it looks as though Belgian and Dutch versions can also be built.

A boon to Cold War modellers especially for the late 60s when there was a lot of competition about (ie MBT producing nations vying for sales for their respective tanks to replace the M26s, M47s and M48s).

Being a modeller today keeps getting better and better!

I recieved this kit today. I have taken a quick look over the model and it all appears to be new and is even dated as 2015. A review will be up within the next two weeks.

Can't wait to get my mitts on one! The sprue shots suggest it might be a big leap forward over the venerable Italeri kit.
