Hi modellers

Today I got my Meng Achzarit (early) and I would like to build a model from the early service period (1989-1996). I going to use the Ammo Mig IDF color set but I dont know which decals or marking option I should apply. Using google.com I didnt found any pic about the early service years. Could somebody point me i the right direction? Any suggestion about the markings at all?

My goal is to build something OTB but based on some pics with verified date.
But maybe I have to buy some books to get what I want.
What is you favorit book about early Achzarit?
Which one do you recommend?

for what you want to do, easily "Israeli wild & cruel cats Volume 3, Achzarit Heavy APC, part 1", by Dr. Robert Manasherob, of Sabingamartin Publications. It covers the vehicles you want to depict in good detail, is reasonably priced, and widely available.

I wrote a tweek list for the kit you have, its around here somewhere, if you search this forum, I know you'll find it. Or at the other site you posted on.

I've the Live Resin flexible ammo chute, if you'd like one.

Also I found a supplier for the mentioned book. But before I order I would like to know if the color profiles in this book provide also information about the date/year of each vehicle?
