VERY nice review. It's nice to see an actual build review.
Your observations pretty much mesh with mine, other than I found the turret shape around the range finding blisters to be off on both sides. Still, it is a far better option than the old Monogram/Tamiya splicing of parts.
And yes, knowing Legend was going to release the set ahead of time saved me from using that awful rear plate. I researched the one at the Korean War Memorial Museum so spent a good deal of time just getting those foundry numbers. You're welcome to them if you want them.
