Dmitrii, I'm curious to hear what you think of this kit and how well it builds. I'll follow your progress with interest.

Hi Greg! I have this kits:
Model looks cool! The only thing I didn't like - hoses made of plastic and do not bend.
Terry Smith, it's very interesting for me too!

The first report on assembly
The engine with transmission:
Already had primed and painted in basic colors:
As in this photo
The frame and chassis:
So, what are my impressions? Clearlymodel - not for beginners, it is necessary to consider how to paint the elements in advance, that would not have any difficulties in the future.
Plastic hardish bit, but not brittle, it pleases. During the work of any fine and small details (a lot of them here) is not broke.
In general, keep build

So, the holidays have passed, time to go back to work, and here's a new photo.
Actually, the fuel tank and the fuel supply system
As I understand it - the fuel supply control system from the cab
Rear fenders
Complete ready frame and chassis
The rear wall of the cab and floor
Well, the most interesting - painting. As usual it all starts with a primer
Tankers from unidentified units of the Red Army, 1941-1942 years.
And base colors
Uff, I will say my opinion about the model. A lot of nerves killed frame, or rather more profound detalization all details. That's great of course, but occasionally items were too small. And in general - everything is super.

Great progress and I agree about your opinion on Miniart kits in general. Great kits, just sometimes they make too many small parts.
I also assume that you will make the tank area and the cab areas slightly different colors as in the color profiles provided?

Thus, bit continuation.
Quick made weathering the interior, and especially in the barrel.
Assembled truck's. Oh, and they drank my blood for its size, monotony, and as much as 6 tracks!
In general - the model is assembled, many elements have not yet glued.
Also found in the stocks of a suitable figure, initially it was:
Few improvements and:
And so it's all about looks
PS Doors in a barrel have not glued, then arrange them in a half-open.

So, Refueller from miniart painted in base colors, some work with the model of oil paints, made chips and wash, ahead of all sorts of stains, dirt and fuel stains.
Wheels (except the front) and the doors are not glued, the hood also still not glued. But the door is now roughly situated as it is in the vignette

WIP
It remains to work out the dust, made only more or less the basis for it, a little dirt and smudges fuel.
Well and I began working on a vignette.

Great job, both painting and weathering! Your 4BO is excellent! What colors do you use for it?
