Okay, the new projects has started. Working on the street section making 4x3mm cobblestones using cork (hell-of-a-job).
The whole dio will be 35x45cm which is mostly because I can not find enough (civilian and politic) figures but still......
Here are some pictures of what it will be (not so massive) and how I'm doing so far. Will be updated every now and then and tips are welcome !

Very ambitious. Good luck with this, it's an unusual subject matter.

Hans,
Ambitious project! I suspect much of this will have to made from scratch. With the Politically Correct crowd keeping swastikas off of box art or putting them on decal sheets in two pieces you'll be hard pressed to find decals to replicate the banners and standards. Good luck.

Very interesting subject for a project. The layout you have done thus far looks excellent. Best of luck with the project.

I remember that one. Very powerful and moving. This work is of a similar ilk, capturing an important moment in the history of the time. Look forward to seeing more.

Be cool if you could somehow cobble together parts from Bronco's marching PLA soldiers, German soldiers, and the boots from the female Bronco PLA marching soldiers...

Hi, I will use the Preiser set for the marching soldiers. Furthermore I have some 1/35 Andrea SS and Wehrmacht flagbearers.
I have been searching for 1/35 SA man but there's nothing that even comes close to it.
And no, no tanks or armoured vehicles this time.

All bricks are laid. Now it's time to give them all more or less the same color and weathering and then I can start making the Zigarre-"shop".

The car is probably ICM's 1/35 Typ 770K (Mercedes) "Leader's Car", as it's been on the market for quite a while, or the very RARE and ANCIENT TRAXX Multi-media kit of same...
The car in the photo is an earlier "Fuehrerwagen", which is either a Typ 500K or 550K...
I've tried to find figurines of "Uncle Adolf" on various websites, but have had no luck. Any suggestions?

I haven't got one of the ICM Typ 770K kits, yet. Where did you encounter "bad fit"? Just curious...
Wonder how good the up-coming ICM Typ 320 will be? Pre-production shots look pretty good, but the proof will be in the pudding...

Far from ready. The facade is almost finished but still 15-20 figures have to be painted. Civilians and Wehrmacht.
