Neat piece of kit the French got there ... is it capable of taking on M1s and Leo2s ? Wiki states 70 ton, that's if my French doesn't betray me.
And a kit of that thing would seriously have my full attention.
Cheers

Chris,
First thing, never believe wiki for tyechnical datas ad many other things.
But take a look on serious documentations : http://www.cnim.com/en/modular-assault-bridge-pta.aspx
Or :

SPRAT is a MLC 80 class bridge so it can support 80 tons (Europeans tons, not US tons).
No problem for the Abrams or Leo

Pascal,
Pretty sure MLC doesn't work like that (ie. straight number = mass in metric tonnes). From memory, it's dependant on whether the vehicle is wheeled or tracked and is a percentage of the weight in short (ie US) tons. STANAG 2021 governs it (again IIRC).

I came across the SPRAT via Model Miniatures Flickr account. Maybe Julie Ludmann is keen on releasing the S
PRAT in 1/72?

Greg's right. MLC is not the vehicle weight.
Concerning the original question, M1s and Leo2s are not more than MLC 70 if I'm correct so they could utilize the SPRAT bridges.
