It almost reminds me of right at the end of "Downfall" with all of the Soviet troops celebrating the end of the war in Europe.It is a great diorama.

Re: "DOWNFALL"- GREAT MOVIE!!! Pretty darn accurate, too... OOPS! GREAT DIO, GERRY!!!

I can't quite make out the inscription on one side, but for those that are interested, the three-worded slogan (in English phonetics: "Vse Dl'a Frontu") means "All For The Front"... German, Ukrainian, and English were spoken at home, along with a bit of Russian, some Polish, and a few Czech words. Then came High School French, plus some Italian and Jewish friends added to my language mix, which made for quite a heady brew for a kid growing up in New York City- (Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens)... The FOOD! I MISS THE FOOD!!!
