What conflicts, if any, were these variants used in?

What conflicts were the Leopard and M1 used in??

I don't understand.. should I not ask if a certain new model can be used in a particular conflict?

I apologize if my question is somehow inappropriate.

Not all tanks see combat, take the German Leopard and, M1 tank ? But yet modelers still purchase the kits. I welcome the new Takom T-55 series, very exciting news.

I still don't understand your response. Does my question somehow imply that I don't like these two new kits. I guess you didn't read my other post about this announcement.

I've been wanting to build a Syrian tank and I was hoping that one of these is used by the Syrian army.. nothing more nothing less.. I guess people aren't really free to ask questions on these forums without being misunderstood and accused of all sorts of things

I read your comments, my comment was, not all tanks see combat, does this make it less effective as a tank? One of my favorites is the Swedish "S" tank.

Hisham, I'm as happy as you are! Imagine how much fun we'll have, tearing up that ERA to simulate battle damage. More SAA T-55s, MVs as well as AMs: https://milinme.wordpress.com/category/syria/page/2/

Kurt will say that people are never happy, but I hope that somebody can give Takom info about the Slovenian T-55S or that Legend does a resin conversion, this is the best looking T-55 variant in my eye along with the IDF Tirans...

Cheers,

I'm with you 100% Christophe! That's the variant I would most like to see (not that I'm not interested in these variants mind you), maybe with these two versions coming out from Takom, Trumpeter will focus on other variants, and the T-55S will see the light of day in plastic!

Has anyone seen this website ? Bellingcat blog. This page is devoted to Syrian T-55s

A few weeks back the Legends conversion caught my eye but I know from experience that eventually the plastic kit manufacturers will bring out a kit. This has proven true with Takom. Happy holidays everyone

Some responses are really annoying, but this is to be expected in places where so many people "gather"...

Anyway, this time Takom really made my day -OK, they will make my day when these kits are already released...-

Hi Guys;

If you did not Notice, the Box Art depicts A Soviet Naval Infantry T-55 with RMSH tracks, and its one of the latest T-55s. Now if they will anounce A Early T-54 that would really be great !

It's always good to see plastic kits of what you only previously has as expensive conversion sets.

Just a nitpick but isn't the T-55AM indeed a AM2?
