Looking good. I think these may be the best faces I've seen you paint. The only thing I'm not sure about are the flowers.

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.
Much appreciated.
The flowers were added to give the feeling of a wild medow and give a bit of height and varience to the grass.
Cheers

Nice composition and nice figure painting & interaction. And I love those tire marks!

Gerry, please don't get me wrong I do like this however I have two observations.
First, how did the trailer get there? If towed there are no tyre / track marks for the tow vehicle.
Second, the mud is grey in the tyre tracks and surrounding earth but reddish-brown on the troops boots and on the trailer tires.
Otherwise very nice.

Much appreciated.
The towing vehicle is just out of the snapshot of the diorama and the crew has pushed the trailer with the gun to it's firing position and unloaded it.
I think the crews tried to keep the vehicles a short distance from the guns so as not to make too big a target.
Unless the mud on boots is fresh it tends to dry a diffrent colour to mud on the ground. It may also be mud from thier last stop?
Good to get feedback from a diffrent perspective.
Cheers
