Hey guys !

Got a quick look of what Gerold from PSM is about to put some camo on.
The kit looks very very impressive :

Looks like the bridge will be available separately .... maybe just the tank itself too.
I will certainly take the whole thing for sure !

Cheers
Christopher

Not too shabby at all.

The two warning lights are for sure going to need to be replaced with clear lenses. I wonder if Gerold can sort that detail before release.

it will be a huge kit when it's build... Does anyone know if this will be a converson or a complete resin kit? If it's a conversion , what kit do you think you will need then?

Likely a conversion based on the MENG Leopard 1 hull.

The lower hull will have to come from a donor kit ... but it doesn't really matter which one as far as I understood Gerold correctly.

Happy new year everyone !

I received a mail today from PSM stating that the conversion will soon be available for preorder. Prices are not yet official. Any Leopard 1 kit could serve as a base with Tamiya beeing the exception as this kit has not been tested.

Well, Hermann,

the easiest way is to combine a new resin hull front to the existing donor kit hull by telling the modeller where to do a cut and then change the hull front for an epoxy part...Just my guess...

Greetings

Exactly...and that can easily be seen in the build images provided on the PSM sight.

225 Euro...Aye Carumba!...that is $347.00 Canadian.

I do applaud Gerold and the PSM crew for producing such an eye catching Leopard variant.

Been watching this with interest. Since the upper hull is clearly based on a converted Gepard AA tank, how does the modeller deal with the wheel-spacing issue on the donor hull? While it wasn't a huge difference, the gaps on the Gepard are noticeable...

(Or did they do some surgery during the real conversion?)

Hi!
The hull ist not based on Gepard! Only, the rear of the hull has components that are same as on Gepard. So, the issue with the space between roadwheels does not occur on Biber.

Some important notice: PSM site tells that 225 Euro is the pre-order price. Regular price is 250 Euros. It is not yet known when the kit will be delivered.

Especially the PNMIRK PaNserMInRydningsKøretøj (armored mine sweaping vehicle) would be great. It features the Wicent with a shorten crane and a Full Width mine plow (like the one used on the M1 Grizzly)
