As a consumer, it's great news to have more choice.
I get sick of these kind of snob comments: how dare you use another AB than a Iwata or a Bagder or whatever ultimate brand?
I have been painting my models with a "simple" Tamiya airbrush for years and am fine with how they turn. If you decide to spend extra money on a "famous" brand, it's your choice but respect others' choice when it's different. After all, it's just spraying paint over plastic bits.
My 2 cents

You cant stop their marketing method.....This great brand is making themselves as the Tamiya of China...The question is...Is that easy to become a BIG T in nowadays? Just my 2 cents.
Oh...I dont want spend extra money on an licensed Taiwan made AB-134 airbrush....It is more reasonable to purchase a Tamiya HG series or Spamax.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where has anyone said anything of the sort in this thread? Where has anyone posted a "diatribe"? The only things I've seen boil down to "I have an airbrush that works fine for me. There will have to be something special about this one for me to buy it." or "How is this different than what's out there already?" Are we at the point now that any reaction besides unbridled enthusiasm is viewed as negative or an attack? Why can't we say "Meh" any more?
It's been asked why people haven't said anything about other similar product lines. There are several reasons but most important is that no one has posted here about them, effectively asking for responses. So what?
I have seen people gushing about this product based, apparently, on ONE photograph and the name. If you want to complain about posts, complain about those.

So did anybody actually buy this airbrush? As I'm planning to do so, would be nice to hear some opinions...

OH, NOOOOO!!! Does this mean that I now have to throw out my four airbrushes..?
I still get exemplary service out of my first "real" airbrush; my 49-year-old PAASCHE H-1, which I bought in 1967, when I was 14 years old. I bought my second H-1 about 5 years later, then, my BADGER 200 in 1974, and my BADGER 200G in 1985...
I've found over the years that I can get very comparable (and many times, BETTER) performance out of my "ancient" single-action airbrushes, as some of the "pros" do out of their hideously expensive IWATAs. MENG's "new" airbrush is not something that I see in my future...
My reasoning is based on this: Why buy something new only because it's new, when you're already getting great service out of your old (fill in the blank, here)..?

Let's wait until it is out, look at the price, the first tests and maybe the availability of brush and spares. Then judge it.
Not everybody needs a 150+€ "superairbrush" or even multiple ones. (Just like I do not need a 4500€ EOS 5D4 or a 500€ Berlebach tripod for fotography). Some can do with a sturdy dual action/gravity feed unit with decend access to spares for doing the basic painting and some minor "dusting" effects, doing the rest by brush.
That is where units like the "Neo for Iwata" or potentially this Meng unit come in. "Good enough for hobbist work" (Just like an EOS80D and a 294-series Manfrotto tripod)

There are some good arguments here about the pros and cons of Meng's new airbrush, but does it really matter...? How many times have we read..."not ANOTHER Bf-109..."! Not ANOTHER Panzer IV..."! Everyone and there donkey makes kits, airbrushes, paints, PE, resin, whatever, that everyone else has already made, and SOME people buy them. Until the "item" is actually in someone's hands, and they have used, built, tried it, these discussions are pointless.
When the smoke clears, if the darn thing sells, hey, good for Meng. If it doesn't...too bad...move on to the next try at makin a buck. As long as there is a group of buyers willing to part with there cash, companies will do anything they can to get it.
For all the gum flappin goin on about an issue like this, some of us forget that the whole idea is to BUILD SOMETHING...!! When you look at the amount of entries into the model of the month, I say there is far too much navel gazing and not enough model building...! Nuff said.

Hisham don't stop finding new stuff. Sometimes a thread goes astray. I hear the same comments when a new Panzer anything is announced. Personally If we had one choice life would be boring.Do we need another brand of paint or new kit maker? Why can't we just keep the same few, forever. Nah, progress improves our hobby. New companies and products up the game making the hobby better for everyone.

Well, I have it. It's a nice, extremely good looking quality airbrush that lays down a nice coat. It mainly suits for painting larger areas though, don't expect it to cope with fine detail work. I especially like the large, removable paint cup which makes cleaning a breeze, as well as the ease of disassembly. At the beginning the the downward motion of the trigger was a bit stiff, now seems to be OK.
I've bought mine for just under 70 Euros (shipped) which makes it a quiet good deal.
I might purchase their second airbrush for fine detail work.
