I like it! I have the same disorganised area problem without 53 years of picking up items! It gets old having to completely clean everything off your desk to work on a project...

Like you I haven't been doing any modeling, but have managed to upgrade most of my tools, brushes and added some needed modeling extras. Currently working on the mancave and after seeing how your bench turned out, it looks like I'll also need to invest on the storage items. Nothing more important than keeping things nice and organized! Yes, John, your bench looks very inviting, will definitely be building some of those units here too!

Hopefully, I can start modeling again this year?

Been eyeing this for sometime. I went ahead and put in my 'wish' order to see how the tax/vat free + shipping will turn out. Though my cave is not as cluttered as the reviewers (before the upgrade), my purpose is more for standardizing/aesthetics (and more drawers to stick stuff). Interesting, but I suspect shipping from Poland to the US would be a killer.

My quote for my order which was about 20 items/components came out to a little over 70lbs which equated to a little over $100 for UPS shipping. When they strip that VAT/Tax thing off the price they are not that bad. I am looking at maybe toning it down a bit just because of the weight. I was hoping to stack 3 high but I think maybe 2 high might be enough. Must say they have been responsive to my emails.

The Hobby Zone stuff is the "cat's Ass" for sure...!! Could not build all the parts I ordered even though I have my own small wood shop next to the model room.

I've had my Hobby Zone setup in place for about 8 months now and it is fantastic. The product is definitely worth the money. When I bought mine, HZ would/could not deduct the VAT, so an alternate source that I used is PK-Pro in Germany. Prices are the same, service is fantastic, and they offer lots of other items besides HZ items to fill your order. FYI, the wall mounted paint racks from AMMO by MIG are made by Hobby Zone and are very similar to HZ's own products but hold more paint; I use a combination of HZ's paint racks, HZ's Modular System racks, and AMMO's racks to hold my paint.

The Hobby Zone Modular Workshop System works really great. Help to keep all the stuff at hand and the workplace tidy. My workbench improve a lot, now I have more space even after bringing some material I had in boxes or in bottom of drawers. Built the first module was a little tricky but with some masking tape even was fun. I try to reinforce the unions with nails. This thin MDF do not work well with nails, so I opted to dril some small holes for lets say 85% length of the nails and then insert the nails. After a couple of modules I realize are not necessary. Just glue it is enough.

John...There are a lot of bottles and paint and..and...stuff. Most all of those consumables would have long dried up before I could use them. Man it's like a warehouse of supplies!

I bought some Hobbyzone shelves and paint holders 2 months ago and I must say I am happy with them. It helped me reorganizing my workspace. Highly recommended !!!
