Here is my Cover up offering almost done. Any comments would be welcome. Still have to weather the figures, add some extras around the bunker. Some rolled up tarps/bedding on the bunk beds, some rifles/ammo crates etc. The layout isn't in stone so if you have any input I am listening, although any major changes won't be possible with the limited time left until deadline. If the pics don't load go to my gallery and check them out. Thanks for all the help!

Thanks Bus for getting a pic in the forum, I can never get that to work correctly. Sorry PFC it was a 251 halftrack box, and I am just using it to hold all my popsicle sticks and twigs etc. But a Vietnam build sounds good, a nice jungle scene! Check out my gallery again, I have it finished now, did a little drybrushin and tried to add some more details but ran out of time. Its not much but I had alot of fun doing it.

Hey bison....long time no see.....your diorama looks great....nice idea.....I just have 1 critique though....the officer's boots and belt....are you leaving them brown? It looks like you have weathered them so I'm assuming you are......All German boots were black as well as all belts and any leather items of kit.....this is for army units...the only exceptions to this are belts and holsters for high ranking officers.....and not usually ones on the front lines.
Brown leather was used in the Luft units only....they were they only ones with brown belts and kit....their boots were black though.....I have only seen late war ankle boots in a darker brown than what you have depicted.

Sorry Dioman, the brown boots are just a preference of mine. I like to think of a snotty officer with handmade Italian boots lording it over the regular troops. Sort of a fashion statement over accuracy #:-) . Matt: the map was printed on the back of the Ialeri rest camp kit, I just cut it out and stuck it on the table, but you can find small printable maps on many sites on web. Did you notice the signal magazine on the shelves?

Hey bison...no need to say sorry man...as my Dad used to say...."Whatever floats your boat"
Just thought you'd like to know the proper colour in case you didn't already.
