Hi out there.

Does anybody know, if any of the decals makers (Archer etc.) is planning decals, for those uf us who want to paint the patriot system in sand color?

The kit´s decals wont fit for this color.

Kind regards

No AM decal sets on the horizon that I know of. They are easy to do yourself though; either make them with computer decal paper, or piece them together from other sets. On sand vehicles, the markings are simply black letters and numbers.

Check Truck Line Decals, they made a decal sheet for modern US bumper codes.

I am looking at both kits right now and the M983 color guide shows both decals options for a sand truck and a NATO 3 color camo option.

Hello, I ordered this kit looks like fun, I also got the M983 also. Looks like a big kit. I started to further my skills by trying to scrap build an super-detail stuff so some of my builds are going slow.

Sorry to go a little of topic but basically the same patriot system. I pre-ordered the new version of the Patriot system type B, I guess a few months ago. Does anyone know when it's going to be released they said end of 2015 but haven't heard anything from the people I bought it from.

What are the differences just wondering.

Happy modeling

You can also try Perfect Scale Modellbau.

Only 2 companies said they were releasing the Patriot, Trumpeters MIM-104 PAC-2 and Dragon's MIM-104B PAC-1. The differences are with the rocket, software upgrades and stuff you really don't see. Externally, they look the same mostly.

Sorry, i´ve been absent for a while.
If i print the decals by myself (black on clear decal film); what will be the right font to use?

Regards

Alfred

I ended up making my own decals for the kit, I was able to print all the decals except the green markings.

Hi, thanks the answer. But what font did you use for the decals?

Kind regards

I use the "Stencilla-A", "Army Rust", and "Stencil Standard" fonts for modern stencilling. If you don't have them, you can search font sites for them and other stencil fonts that will work.
