I got said aftermarket set. I bought a previous set but ruined them trying to get the runners off the steel-type wheels. I'm scared to do the same with this new set until I know how to safely remove them. Has anyone done this successfully?

I used the resin set as well. I found the best way to do it is to use a x-acto saw and a dremel sander to take off the excess resin slowly and carefully. Just be ready to deal with a lot of resin dust from the dremel, which I am sure isn't good to breathe in. Little by little is the best way to keep the resin from breaking. On my kit I also adjusted the steel wheels so they made ground contact, so I could sort of hide the cleaned up parts.
I hope this helps.

Hi Tom;
The way Josh suggestes is probably the best way, and you can Score along the Mold line with the pointed end of A Xacto Blade four or five times on Both Sides and it should Snap off real easy. The DEF stuff is Super; But as with all resin its A Royal Pain to clean up.
GOOD LUCK; MIKE.
