This is one of Masterbox's 1/24 figures. Not quite as good as a resin or metal figure, but then it only costs one-tenth of those. Masterbox has really taken plastic molding to a very high level.

I did do some undercutting and redefining of separation lines. And I used a hot knife on her hair.

Now this one looks a lot more realistic! She could be stepping off the chopper in that scene from "Apocalypse Now."

I forgot to mention, in the box art she's wearing boots, but the model is wearing pumps! Of course, high heels arch the back and re-define T&A . A lot more sexy than army boots!

Did you handpaint or airbrush the skin colors? The difference in skin tones looks good.

Looks good!!

I had really hope this one would've had boots. A lot less sexy, but with much more converting potential.

I started off airbrushing Tamiya flesh, as a sort of primer. I then used various flesh and red-browns Citadel acrylics in very thin applications (not a wash!) for both shading and highlighting.
Note; none of the Tamiya paint remains visible. It's there as a flesh-colored matte primer so that thin applications of the Citadel paint will adhere better.

I would have preferred boots, too. MB's 1/35 scale equivalent has boots. Can't think of any inexpensive source of replacement boots.
