Hi all this is the Tamiya Elefant which has been a really pleasant build, I've built it straight out of the box and added a few minor improvements. Its the first time I have ever done zimmerit and it looks to have gone well (its been the ruin of a few kits in the past!). I have gone for minimal weathering as I don't think this tank lasted that long. Any comments welcome

Really nice Elefant. The zimmerit looks great and kudos for putting it around all those bolts.

Thanks for the comments, I plan on using the figures so will post a pic when they're done
I used Revell plasto putty which can be very sticky, I thinned it with Tamiya cement and that gave me a little more time but I had to work in small sections, it tended to go off in about 5mins. Pattern was made with a small screw driver.

That looks superb. The zimmerit is really effective and is some of the best I've seen in a long time as it actually looks like part of the vehicle. Cracking job mate.

Your figures add some great details! I doubt my figures will ever look that great.
