My kits just arrived on my bench from Hong Kong

These 2 kits seem to be great and I will provide more details later

Got mine. The metal barrel molded into the plastic on the sprue was a cool touch...reminds me of how Orange Model molds the barrels into the resin. Also their directions look like they hired the Tamiya designer- very nice

Not to hijack this tread, but I received both kits today, and all I can say from a fast first look is : WOW

The level of detail is great, as looks to be the quality of the plastic.

I was dubious about getting their Nagmachon kit, bit after what I've seen with this two, I'm definitely going to order it.

You will not regret it I'm going to start on mine soon for the 500+ campaign.. looks like a very fun kit to build.

If its quality is on par with the Brenus one, it will surely be a winner
Best luck with your build!

I'm establishing eye contact with the AMX 30B2 myself so it'd be great to see more of this kit.

I mentioned the metal barrel when the kit was first announced and sprue shots released. As far as I am aware, it is the first time this has been done in an injection molded kit and is a great idea. As you mentioned, Orange Hobby has done this with resin, but Brach was probably the first one to do with the metal mortar barrel tubes of their German/French halftrack cast with the resin firing mechanism.

FYI, it would appear that Meng is also following Tiger's lead. Just like Orange Hobby released a set of metal hydraulic cylinders with the attachments molded on in resin for the Meng D9, Meng's new D9 release appears to have the same thing, but the ends molded in plastic instead resin.
