Hello,
at the moment I'm working on a M1 ABV with Pearson Mineplow from DEF Model.
I realised that the middle part(red marking) of the mineplow is longer than I found it on photos in the internet. Are there different versions or is the DEf Models Kit wrong?

There are different types of plows fitted to the ABV. The one below looks like the one in the kit you have.

The kit seems a bit long to me. Im sure you already have a plan for correcting it. From my info, there is only one type of Pierson mine plow. there are other makes in US inventory but this is the one natively fitted to the ABV. You could leave it. its not that bad . Fixing it would require shortening/replacing the strut that mounts the center plow. Good luck and keep us appraised of the situation.

Wow, never realized how far the kit part sticks out, all the freaking detail and trouble I went through and never noticed!

Hello,
thanks for your answers.
I cut off some resin, and now it looks better:

Hi
looking at the model and pictures of the FWMP(H) and seen the real thing I Personally think the center boom may just a tad to long .
when on the ground the centre part is only forward a touch to allow for the ploughing effect.
take it you have checked out Pearson engineering web site
