1/72 MODELCOLLECT Syrian T-72 AV kit with OKB resin tracks and Aber barrel, added some "details" with brass sheet.
Unfortunately, unlike the unanimous positive reviews on some Chinese online forums, the original plastic kit is not sharp, inaccurate and it has some huge machining marks on kits surface. So I spent massive time on assemble this simple kit.

Beautiful work. It looks like a 1/35th replica.

A truly stunning Syrian T72. You really nailed the battered and dirty look of their tanks. Great job!

Great work on that Syrian T-72. you really got the battle damage from the heavy fighting especially with the heavily damaged side skirts.

Your time on this kit was well spent! Your result is very convincing. Although a monochromatic vehicle it does not look dull or boring at all. The wear you replicated is top notch. The barrel and fenders do make a difference.
Although cold war soviet armor is not my kind of stuff it is really fun watching your build.
Looking forward for more!
Happy modelling Michael
