I am going to start working on my Meng FT-17 and have questions on the paint.
is the whole interior painted white or off-white? Does any one have a paint diagram for all sides, they show just one for the tri-color scheme with black lines.

Any interesting patterns?

Also, suggestions for painting the track, they list a black grey. I was thinking more along the lines of gun metal with silver highlights and a black wash.

I would say off-white. They get dirty and grimy in there, so they're always off-white! For the tracks, I would start with overall rust color, followed by steel highlighting and scraping, a black wash, then lots of dirt washes and pigments.
