I am sorry if this has been asked prior to this but I am some what new to armor and brand new to Dragon kits.
There are, in all practicality, no paint call outs for the Type 2 and only three colors are listed in the color chart... copper, flat black and steel. This leaves a lot to be desired such as interior tub colors, are the pontoon disconnect wheels steel or wood, what is the machine gun's appearance... etc.
I love the kit but find this very hard to understand.
Can anyone here give me any paint guidance and tell me if this is the standard with Dragon kits as I have two others in my inventory?
Thank you in advance!

Never found that issue in any of my German armor kits, but I do know that tank would have an exterior of IJN gray or IJN green depending on if it's an early or late version.

Thank you... but would you have any idea about the interior or any of the details? There is not a single paint call out.

Interior details would most likely be white. MG is black with gunmetal barrel and the ball mount is steel. The pontoon disconnect wheel is metal. This is based on everything I could search out online.

Thanks folks! Your help in invaluable.
Another question... I am planning on some weathering and would be curious to Know what color to paint under the IJN green to simulate the metal underneath...
Also any hints on how to donruststains from water running off the decks after a rain storm... I have a diorama in mind for this kit that involves exposure to the elements for a number of years. Also any tips on doing an area that is completely rusted through... Tutorials appreciated!
Thanks in advance

Interesting how Dragon does such detail work on the machine guns and the wheels that rotate to detach the pontoon but does nothing for an operator/driver area along with a loader position for the main gun or any other interior details.
