Ah! now this looks familiar
Dragon are working their way through the limited edition white boxed Cyber Hobby releases again, but it would seem without some of the detailed parts and magic tracks originally contained within.
Dragon don't seem to have much of a budget for completely new stuff these days, but in keeping with modern day thinking they are getting well into the "recycling" trend
At least those who missed out on buying the limited edition when it first came round or couldn't stomach the overpriced examples flogged on Ebay later on will be pleased.

I'll get one. An exposed 88 on a tank chassis - neat!

I believe this is solely based on one example from some images taken in a scrapyard/collection point for wrecked armour etc. at Pilsen airfield during the war. No other examples are seen to my knowledge.Panzerwrecks series has photos in their 10 numbered book.

Hmmm'
I guess my post, the first one after Darren's in the thread, along with that nice big pictures didn't register with you
To be specific Cyber Hobby is a brand seen on DML kits, along with the Dragon name depending on which market it goes into.
It's the "White Box" part that makes it different, sold as a range (or use to be), one off limited edition runs that won't be repeated. Well, certainly not in the White box "Limited Edition" range...wink, wink.
Good that it's available again but those buying the Limited Edition kits must feel a bit cheated.

That will depend on the price this is released at, considering the extras the CH version comes with.

with no truly new vehicles, does this mean Dragon won't manufacture a new subject unless it has umpty nine different variants. Dragon is truly in decline.

I think I would rather have the limited edition, It had magic tracks, no new projects from dragon.

Dragon who?
Joking aside I won't spend any more of my hard earned money for this disgusting model policy.
Until Dragon finally (after all these years) will come up with some really new models I won't care about their ridiculous "/news" anymore...
Enough is enough!

I remember reading about these Panzer 4 conversions and felt sorry for the crew who stood exposed six foot off the ground on a completely exposed tank hull
Nice model of a deeply flawed concept

As long as it was only used as a mobile Flak gun, and not AT. But they could have included the gun shield against enemy strafing.

From all the pictures I've seen of this vehicle, they didn't get it right.

Odd that a company like Dragon seems to be working backwards. 10-15 years ago their kits were still good, but it seems as they entered 2016, they actually release poorly conceived kits...a re-hash of old kits, less in the way of good materials such as metal barrels, rubber band tracks and little or no-use PE. As with other folks, Dragon's lack of focus and quality had lost me as a customer quite some time ago. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, recycling and calling a lot of their old kits "NEW!!!". I'm not going to list DRAGON's vices, as that is all "OLD!!!". I DO however, give DRAGON credit for their "NEW!!!" 3559 M48A1, 3553 M60, and 3562 M60A2.
In defense of ebay, you can STILL find a lot of the older and better-content 1/35 DRAGON kits there, with honorable mentions going the better long-established on-line Hobby Houses...

DRAGON is in decline with quite a few modellers- In the meantime, DRAGON is laughing all their way to the bank...
DRAGON USED TO BE the most innovative 1/35 scale manufacturer on the face of the planet; back in the 1980s and '90s, it was TAMIYA. Obviously this is no longer true, in the cases of DRAGON and TAMIYA, both. One can't blame all the excellent competition from the likes of MENG, BRONCO, TRUMPETER, HOBBY BOSS and whole boatload of others for DRAGON's decline. DRAGON, and in some ways, TAMIYA have only themselves to blame...

Hi, Alan, other than no Magic Tracks, what other details are they leaving off to your knowledge?
