Fellow history/model building officionados, I'm looking for any photographs of the SS panzer divisions in Hungary around January-February 1945. Trying to get a good feel for how to arrange a diorama landscape and the weathering of the vehicles in said diorama, along with the equiptment used by the soldiers and thdir overall demeanor. There isn't too much out there on this stage of the war, and right now the history books that would help me with this subject are not in the budget, just dumb college books right now.

FORTEPAN is a superb open source archive for photos in Hungary, you can search by tags and with the timescale below the pictures.

By clicking here you will find photos tagged "tank" from 1945, including some German stuff knocked out.

Also by typing "operation Konrad" in google pic search you will find hundreds of SS armor photos for the time and place you want.
