Does anyone know if the mortar from the Riich British weapons set is suitable for use as a mortar used by the Airlanding brigade at Arnhem? Ive been googling and have seen two types of baseplate classed as airborne. One that looks like the one provided in the Riich set and the other with holes.All the photos Ive seen of 3" mortars in action at Arnhem show the top of the tube and not the baseplate. I know Resicast do a set but that's way out of my price range.
